And now for something completely different:

We saw Guardians of the Galaxy yesterday, and I thought to myself this morning, self, what's the weirdest-looking alien you can draw that's (a) still obviously a cute girl and (b) that's attractive enough that ~~Chris Pratt~~ ~~Peter Quill~~ Star-Lord would totally want to hook up with her?

So I drew this girl. She's Marii, the Ambassador to Xandar from the Naamakian Empire. She's very bookish, even among a people known for their academic tendencies. She may be young, but she's well-read and smart, and capable and assertive in her role, but she's a little shy in romantic situations.

The inside of my brain is a weird place.
